pasifika mama

We went to the Corban Estate Art Center to see the Pasifika Mamas. We had take our shoes off before we go inside. We made leis from fabric flowers and straws. then we played the drums. We took turns and it was noisy.

Aunty Tu told us to shout out 'ALOHA' (greeting in Hawaii). We also said greetings in Samoan, Fijian, Cook Island and Tongan.  We learned a dance. The girls and boys had different actions. We had a drumming challenge girls vs boys.

It fun was there.
